Sunday Fun Day at Gammy and Pawpaw’s

Sunday we headed to my parents to spend some time in the sun and playing with the kiddos.  The babies LOVE going places…anywhere they don’t care to stay at home very well.  When we go to my parents the babies always enjoy playing outside, playing in the water, and this trip baby girl discovered the trampoline!

Her brother put the sprinkler on it when we first went outside to cool it off.

That made it even more fun for her!

The girl jumped and jumped and jumped…until she fell off.  She took one heck of a fall too.  Her feet went over her head and her arm got stuck in the openings.  Thankfully this was a kids trampoline and the springs were actually bungee cords so she had small burns on her little arms but not cuts or pinches from springs.

We took a break from the heat and went inside.  While we went inside baby girl started playing with her little doll house.  This doll house is special because it was my sister’s and she loved it so very much and now baby girl is expressing that she is becoming interested in it as well and I hope that she loves it just as much as my sister did.

Then we went back outside and played some more…what’s the saying…work hard, play harder!!  We definitely do that!

Little man is such the gentleman, helping baby girl get her a sip of some water.

Cheesing it up.

This time was not the first that they played with their pool/slide.  But little man did find the slide and learned how to go down the slide.  He LOVED IT!

Baby girl wasn’t the biggest fan because at the end of the slide is water, that she may or may not end up going under.  She just hasn’t gotten used to that yet.  One day, soon enough she will have no worries with the water.  Don’t get me wrong, she is in NO WAY scared of the water, nor does she fear it.  In fact when we are around pools she has been known to just walk right into the water…regardless if you are ready or not for her…and she will come up laughing while your heart is beating out of your chest!

We ALWAYS, always since Mema and Pepa have left the golf cart, go on a golf cart ride, or two or three, before we leave Gammy and Pawpaw’s.  This time was no different!

Ok, it was slightly different.  This time was different because baby girl was BORED…she is CLEARLY not aware of the enjoyment any type of ATV can bring.  So instead of enjoying the ride or watching the trees…she played peekaboo!

Where is baby girl….

There she is!

Oh, where is baby girl?!

And there she is…you can see how this golf cart ride went!

On our way back to the house, little man expressed his disagreement with me about it being time to go.

As always it was a blast and we look forward to the next visit!

After we left my parent’s house we went to hubby’s aunt and uncle’s house and relaxed in their pool.  It was a great Sunday and by the time this post finally gets to my blog it more than likely will be another Sunday.  But that is what happens with you are a full time momma, wife, and employee…just flat run out of time in the day!

Speaking of being busy, I am currently out of town for work and using this alone time in my hotel room to catch up on the blog, and picture editing.  In doing that I have decided that I want to try to start recording “Kids say”.  Hubby and I have always thought it was so sweet, special, and hilarious what children say.  Our babies are starting to really converse with us and I want to remember some of those funny comments they make.  That being said I have decided to document them on the blog, I just want to apologize in advance for any comments that my babies may say that someone may not appreciate…after all they are kids and they are learning what they can and cannot get away with.  I am excited about sharing this with our family and friends but most importantly I’m excited about having a place to document it so I can go back and read it some day…so stay tuned for those coming up soon!
