Two weekends ago, yes it has taken me that long to edit all these pictures but that is what happens when you take almost 300 pictures in one day! We took the babies to the pumpkin patch to find us the perfect pumpkin.
The babies loved the wagons that were there to carry your pumpkins.
I love that the babies have such a great relationship and can work together…
for most things…
until her brother decides they have enough small pumpkins and takes off with the wagon.
She found the wagon and hopped in so he could not leave her again.
She was enjoying the wagon and small pumpkins.
She couldn’t help us find a big family pumpkin.
There were too many options of big pumpkins.
Again, she jumped into the wagon as soon as it stopped moving.
She got a little stuck getting in, but it didn’t stop her.
Wagon ride anyone?
I think by this point she didn’t care about the pumpkins anymore, she started pointing out trucks.
Daddy found one.
Little man gave his approval.
He liked it too.
She had a great time riding things…
And posing for pictures.
Only got one picture of little man posing on his pumpkin.
She couldn’t figure out why she couldn’t sit on this little pumpkin.
Decided she wanted one of every pumpkin.
She like the guards too.
The only picture of the two of them that was half decent.
The only picture of us, half decent. Hey, when you have two toddlers and you are trying to take pictures…you just have to make do with the “best” pictures you can get.
Pretty girl.
He spotted “better” pumpkins.
Seriously, we couldn’t stop her from collecting the small pumpkins. And the place had hundreds, we told her she would be there all day picking up small pumpkins…she didn’t care.
Cheese daddy-o!
They had this cute little cut out for the kids to stick their heads thru…I thought it was cute looking at their feet sticking out the bottom.
Then she had to stick her head out too.
Peek-a-boo
Little man!
Cheese.
No blog post is complete without some black and whites…
After babygirl’s “photo shoot” (or so she thought it was), little man spotted the bouncy house and slide.
He had a great time jumping.
Tried to convince kids from the outside to come inside.
Jumping!
Peeking out at sister trying to get her to come jump with him.
She wanted NO PART of that bouncy house!
He didn’t care though.
He jumped anyway!
Then we found the blow up slide.
That was the HIT!
We even convinced baby girl to try it out.
And she loved it!
A LOT!
We had a great time at the pumpkin patch. We have gone every year since we got married and I have gone MANY years since as long as I can remember, it’s a tradition I hope to continue to carry on with the babies. The pumpkin patch is located at a local church and the proceeds benefit the church, that makes the pumpkin purchasing even more fun for us! I’m so glad the babies enjoyed it and cannot wait for many more years of pumpkin patching!
Up next- pumpkin carving!! (well soon anyway, we have yet made time to carve the beast of a pumpkin we hauled home!)
