AAHH Rest, Rest, Rest and Work Tomorrow!

Cheer camp is FINALLY over, my goodness let me tell you I am so pooped! We had a great time though only a few minor injuries...one a little more serious than the rest. Hopefully though the girls will rest over the next week and come practice next week be ready to show me what they learned this week. Speaking of, they learned a LOT! 2 cheers, 6 chants, 2 dances, and 4 DIFFERENT stunts....yea they are def saying "Coach we cant remember all this!" but I know they can. Other than cheer camp ending, nothing really exciting in my life...sorry this is a boring read. :-(

HOWEVER, I will have to say missing girl's night this week (and Erin in JAX) I am FOR SURE feeling some NEEDed girl's time. Girl's what's the plans will I ever see yall again!?!?!?

IS THIS A Wii????

For those of you who do not know, last Christmas I was looking for a Wii for hubby. He LOVED his play station but sold it when we got married...trying to be the adult he thought he needed to be. Soon after we moved in our new house, I began to notice that he missed that stupid little box that cost a lot of money and took up a lot of his time. So I thought you know for Christmas I should get him a Wii. That game system can work more than just his little fingers, could be pretty entertaining to watch him play, and we could have friends over for Wii parties. So the search began for this "wii". I started looking for a Wii at the beginning of November, thinking I was getting my shopping done "early". Little did I know that Wii's are one HOTT (yes with TWO 'T's) item. so long story short I looked for a good 8 weeks, then finally game up and 2 days before Christmas purchased him an XBox 360. Now, I have to say as much as I didn't want the 360, the two of us really enjoyed it. Then around the end of March we were robbed and guess what was gone the 360 (along with many other things). So then I had to look at my poor hubby depressed because the 360 was gone. Dont get me wrong he was thankful neither of us were home and got hurt and that it wasn't worse than it was but really he was depressed the 360 and his TV were gone. So, we replaced the TV and hubby said he did not want to worry about the 360. Then he got the itch so we started looking for a Wii..thinking it would be different and fun. But finding a Wii was a different story, there are NONE STILL!! So this Friday night on our way home hubby looks at me and says "lets check Best buy on the way home" I was like "come one Tee we looked ALL weekend last weekend there are none in Tally" so we pulled in and what did I see...a white box...with the word "Wii" on the front. It couldn't be, so I grabbed the box and ran to a Best buy employee and said "ma'am please dont laugh at me to my face but is this REALLY a Wii system" she giggled and told me yes....so now we HAVE A WII...and WE LOVE IT! I HIGHly recommended the Wii system to anyone who likes gaming systems but thinks America needs ore exercise because let me tell you after playing it for 2 hours last night my arms are SORE!!!!

My Mema!

My mema had skin cancer removed today and it was on her nose so her face could possibly swell and she could end up with a black eye for a little while. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she recovers from this. The doctor thinks they got it all but she has to go back in 4 weeks for a follow up and we will find out for sure then. Mema was doing great after the procedure today though, she requested "before you take me home Sissy I want Ming Tree" haha gotta love Mema!

BUNKO!

So last night was my first time playing BUNKO! It was Friday night, I had nothing to do (FINALLY) and had a LONG day at work so Tammy called asking me to sub and I SAID YES!!! The whole way to meet her I was thinking to myself "what the heck am I going to do when I get there, what is this game they call bunko". I have to say, I was very nervous about my first bunko experience, I dont like to lose at anything and I knew I would probably would not win which kinda bothered me. But at the same time I was really looking forward to learning the game and having fun!! So we got to the house where bunko was being played, we ate (some YUMMIE food I might add), talked for a little while then it was BUNKO TIME!! So, feeling like I was going into this game COMPLETELY BLINDED I sat down at the "head table" and rolled my first time. Didn't do that great but I had fun. Tammy, another lady, and myself all tied for the most wins...which meant we split the money and I came home with the same $5 I put in....so I didnt lose anything after all! And to top it all off I HAD A BLAST! It was very fun and a great way to end my crazy, busy, ready to pull my hair out WEEK. So today is Saturday (YAY) and we dont really have much planned Tee has a game at 4:00 (hopefully they will win) and thats pretty much it. Hope you girls have a great weekend!!

Camping Trip

So, I have finally made it home and back to blogging I go!! My ENTIRE family and I went camping this weekend for the 4th of July and to go to Disney World for my cousins birthday. For those of you who think going to the "happiest place on earth" for the 4th would be a GREAT idea...think again. We (Tee and I) spent $155 for one ride and some fireworks...yes ONE RIDE! The park was so busy Disney actually closed the gates and was not letting anyone else in. There was no more parking left...I have never seen Disney run out of parking...but as luck would have they did have the BEST firework show I have EVER seen!! We were there for 9 hours and only got to ride Pirates, eat Tacos, and watch the fireworks because there were too many people to even WALK! The worst part of the whole trip was Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain AND Space Mountain were ALL closed!! Those are the best rides there and you couldn't ride them! That was our first day there, then yesterday, Saturday, we went canoeing(is that a word?)...that was a BLAST! Tee and I have never done that before so the rest of the family (who got practice on Thursday) enjoyed laughing at us. We saw a gator the size of our canoe about a foot from us and my mema hit another gator with her paddle (by accident) a little scary but neat trip. All in all I would say we had a pretty good time camping...next time we go to Disney we will make sure it is in the off season...I NEVER want to be there again on the 4th of July! Sorry, I didnt take any pictures...I honestly forgot (I know can you believe that Tammy)?!?!?! But that was my long weekend now I am washing clothes, cleaning the house and getting ready for work tomorrow!!!
