First Football Game

Last night was Brody's first football game and he LOVED it! FHS played Lincoln, the game didn't turn out like we wanted but we still had a great time. The first few horns and songs the band played caught him off gaurd but only 5min into it, he was LOVING the game!
First game!

First huddle :)
We were sad that FHS didn't win, but we had a great time and I look forward to more FHS games. I hope to take Brody to a FSU game soon...well maybe another season! :)

Osaka

This past Monday we celebrated Dad and Nana's birthday. We went to Osaka's. I LOVE Osaka's food and I couldn't wait for Brody to watch them cook the food. On the way there he fell asleep and slept through all the "fire show" :( I was sad but he was still sick so I know that he was tired.

The reasons for the celebration!

Family!

Nana and her new "blouse" :)
Next time, hopefully Brody will be awake and get to enjoy the show. We had a good time though and let me tell you I ate so much I was SICK!!! But it was TOTALLY worth it! :)

Yummm Cantaloupe and Pears

Today we had a major storm. I wanted to play in lightroom but worried that I shouldn't be on the computer with the lightening, so I made Brody some homemade baby food! The first was actually the cantaloupe and then I did pears but good ole blogger uploaded my pictures out of order.

The pears were definitely more difficult than the cantaloupe. I washed them, peeled them, sliced them in thin slices and then nooked them in the microwave for about 15 minutes. Once they were softened I was able to puree them in the food processor. Then I put them in my trays and froze them. To my surprise, 3 pears was only enough for 6 meals for Booga...but still cheaper than buying jars!

The cantaloupe was much easier. All I had to do was cut it open, take out the seeds (which are drying to plant next year), slice it up, and puree! By the way, I gave Brody the cantaloupe tonight...he liked it after MANY attempts! Wish I would have had the camera ready for those pics! Maybe next time!!

Doesn't it look like a smoothie?! :)

My new addiction...Thanks Tam! ;)

Today, the James' came over...YAY!!! It has been waaaay too long since I got to hang out/play with Tam. Today she showed me a program she has found for editing photos....AMAZING!! I am not hooked. I have been editing my pics since they left. Haha I had to post a few to share. Thanks Tam for the new program and for taking some pics today. Can't wait to play with you again SOON!!!

As an update on the Dawkins, little man is sick and daddy is sick. I want my boys to feel better soon. We are now living with my parents, in and settled. We hope to have something settled with the house soon. I am just thankful we are finally settled now I can work on my photography and finish sewing projects! :) Since I haven't been on my blog in FOREVER I didn't realize that my layout was messed up, so now that I have blogged I shall now fix my layout!
